Malaysia 2011 IT Fair

Malaysia IT fair is an annual event which exhibits many kind of IT stuffs to the consumers. It also enable and provide consumer all the gadgets with the lowest price as low as RM1 for a thumbdrive! Wow, its pretty cool right? This year, Malaysia 2011 IT Fair was held in Mid Valley Exhibition Center, Kuala Lumpur from 28th to 30th January of 2011. It also sponsored by Kaspersky as most of the part in the exhibition hall have Kaspersky booth at least two. So enjoy my experience whole day in the IT Fair.

I decided to go for it on the second day and it was amazing as I arrived at the Mid Valley KTM Station, there are so many people there various races and age. Wow, I think this IT Fair will achieve their goal to attract more people tomorrow as Sunday is the peak of the exhibition and many activities will be held there. As right after I arrived the exhibition hall, huh it was little bit disappointed and jealous in me because everyone bring their own DSLR, snap pictures, models and many more. Like I said before, as I entered the hall, Kaspersky booth conquered the spaces and the price were very reasonable for every anti-virus as low as RM60 for 1 pc-user. When you buy an Internet Security Kaspersky packaged, you will get a special ang pau from Jackie Chan and can buy a 4GB thumbdrive for RM1 and many more free gifts.

They offered netbook, laptop, mobile phones, tablet pc, GPS device, broadband services and many more with the lowest price as we can't get it in other place. Wah, luckily I didn't bring my all my money or I will go shopping for it. Something that really interest me is the camera booth, they offered camera with the lowest price at RM249 for Canon digital camera and can be negotiate for selected model of DSLR! Unfortunately there are only 3 model of Nikon's camera, huh it was very disappointed. They with slumberland give out their money at least RM 2k and buy a DSLR! What the ..... Oh god, luckily I have to use my money or not, I got my own DSLR yesterday. :D

There also an auction that offer gadgets starting from RM 1!! Some of the auction stuffs were Apple Ipad, LCD tv with 32 inch, cameras and many cool stuffs. There also a "Did You Know Contest"  and Photography Contest for visitors.

And something interesting bout yesterday, there is something that little bit changed my mind set bout people nowadays. As I came to the surau, it was surprising me as there are many people in it especially teenagers. Its a good improvement as many people now realize bout it, praise to Allah. I thought surau will be empty as usual but it was full yesterday. And they also waiting together for Asar and pray together. Alhamdulillah even there also many people still don't repent, wearing clothes and did something that not symbolize them as a Muslim. Masya-Allah

But when the time comes to go back home, as usual lah there were so many people waiting for train. It little bit annoying me cause many of them still want to enter the train even the train was full like sardine in a can. Huhuhu so sad especially to ladies, have to use other coach together with men closely.

For me, this exhibition have achieve their goal and hope it can be held again frequently in future and will be more extravaganza with many exhibitors and stuffs. I'm sorry for uncleared pictures as I just used my phone to snap it but it good enough to imagine the scene there. So enjoy your reading yea ;) I will update my blog with other stories soon.
